Have sex. Which sounds like too much information, but seriously, when my mom had The Talk with me at 12, I was dialing convents. It sounded like the most horrible thing ever invented. Gross, uncomfortable. And it might hurt? And I might bleed? And I might HAVE A BABY? YOU ARE KIDDING ME. No, thank you. I said I was going to die a virgin.

... So, yes. Now I'm off to tuck my two kids in.

I was convinced that I was going to be a virgin for life.

I never had this fear. My convo with my parents went with me asking, "So its like if the dad has a buggy and moms the garage and dad parks his buggy in the garage?" My parents, laughing, "Yes, exactly." End of questionare, I know whats going on, and I never develop the fear of sex. I expected maybe a slight pain the first time but I always figured it wouldnt be all that bad, jus something to get past to the good stuff. ;)

I don't have this fear, currently... I just figure, if it happens, hopefully it's with the right guy and it'll be amazing and not cause me to get pregnant/limp for a week/get an STD/anything else bad.

I dont think I've ever even had the talk with my parents.. I just figured it out from friends.

Lol... I never had a talk with my parents either. I don't really remember how I learn all that (not that I know <i>a lot</i>), probably from sex/std/biology ed and friends.

I remember asking my mother this one and only question; "Can you use a condom most than once? Eh..I mean when it goes in once, can it goes in again??" I was blushing very badly and my mother just said; "Yeah, you can." I think she was as embarrased as I was!

My father bought condoms for me and my sister when I was 15 and her 12 (gasp!!). We were so embarassed but it's better to have some you don't use then not having any and being in a bad situation. We were like... Dad!! We don't need that! Why did you buy that?!? But put them in our dressers anyway.
